Baffour Gyan keeps fingers crossed for brother Asamoah

Baffour Gyan hopes like every Ghanaian that his brother, Asamoah gets fit for the Africa Cup of Nations.

The on-loan Sunderland striker at UAE club Al Ain is making impressive progress with recovery from a hamstring injury.

Baffour who has also played for the Black Stars revealed how important this Nations Cup is to his kid brother.

"I visited him in the UAE and saw his performance which really amazed me," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"He always told me how much he will like to replicate such performances at this Nations Cup so we all hope he recovers to play at the tournament."

Ghana plays it's first game at the tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea against Botswana on January 24 before tackling Mali and Guinea in subsequent games.
