Bale takes part in Madrid's first training session ahead of Eibar clash

Zinedine Zidane was able to welcome back Gareth Bale for Real Madrid's training session on Monday, as preparations for Sunday's match against Eibar begin to accelerate.

The Welshman did not feature in the training match that took place at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano as a precaution, but he was able to rejoin his teammates in Monday's session at 11:00 CEST.

There is no reason to think that Bale will be unavailable to face Eibar at the Di Stefano.

Nacho Fernandez and Luka Jovic are both out injured, so Zidane had 23 first-team players available, which means there will be no players left out of the matchday squad against the Basques, unless the Frenchman opts for three goalkeepers, in which case one outfielder would miss out.

The training session consisted of ball possession and tactical exercises, matches on a small pitch and, finally, shots on goal.

Tomorrow, Los Blancos will train again as they continue the build-up to Sunday's clash.
