Barcelona chief Fernandez: Has Man City contacted Messi?

Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez insists there's no concern of losing Lionel Messi.

Messi is being linked with Manchester City.

The Sun says Messi's representatives have already held initial discussions about moving to the Premier League, in a deal which could land the Argentine ace an amazing £40million annual salary - some £800,000-a-week.

City are said to have been encouraged that Messi, 28, is willing to leave Barcelona next summer.

“We don't know anything about this offer," said Fernandez.
