FC Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez has spoken about the future of Lionel Messi, in an exclusive interview to the newspaper El Pais.
“Messi needs Barça, and Barça need Messi. They have to make him happy, because with Leo Messi glad they will win more titles. I maintain a great friendship with him, I respect him a lot. He is a competitive animal, he always wants to win, and for 10 years he has been the best footballer in the world. Hopefully we can meet again on a professional level. Having the best player in history on your team is like having an ace to win".
