Barcelona and Bayern Munich have set their eyes on Fiorentina’s versatile Federico Bernardeschi

The Viola youngster made his international debut with the Italian National team on Thursday night against Spain and his fine form this season has led to increased interest from some of Europe’s elite.

According to Tuttosport, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are the two main clubs who are competing for Bernardeschi’s in-demand signature.

Interestingly, incoming Bayern boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has made Bernardeschi one of his main priorities for when he takes over German club this summer.

Barcelona on the hand have scouted the player since his brace against the Blaugrana in last summer’s friendly in Florence.

So far this season, the 22-year-old has made 26 Serie A appearances for Paulo Sousa’s side, scoring one domestic goal and assisting three.
