Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has admitted that Sunday’s 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea was far from easy.
The Phobians ended Chelsea’s ten-game unbeaten home run at Golden City Park in a tight Ghana Premier League Round 31 match. Mawuli Wayo scored the only goal in the 56th minute to secure all three points.
Speaking after the game, Ouattara said Chelsea came in highly motivated following their FA Cup semi-final appearance.
"This match is not an easy match playing against Berekum Chelsea they are just coming from the semi of the FA Cup. They have another motivation the players are together for one or two three seasons my younger brother coach Boadu is one of the experienced coach in the game. We prepared ourselves according to their weakness to prevent everything coming from them," as aired by Peace FM.
Hearts will next face Accra Lions on May 25 in their penultimate game of the season.
