Bechem United administrative manager Francis Gorman Hackman has joyously congratulated former Dutch international George Boateng following his appointment as Blackburn U-13 head coach.

The Middlesbrough and Hull City midfielder was confirmed last week and has begun working.

Boateng will also serve as assistant coach to Blackburn's Under-16 and Under-18 teams respectively.

"Help me Celebrate my Brother and Friend George Boateng on his new appointment as the Head Coach Black Burn Rovers(England) U13 and Assistant for U 16 and U 18 Respectively. Better days Ahead George," Hackman posted on his facebook.

The two have a good relationship having worked together at Bechem United when Boateng was serving as the club's international representative.

Mr Hackman is a well-respected football administrator in Ghana. He is noted for bringing top managers such as Kenichi Yatsuhashi and Manuel Zacharias to the local league as well as managed Tom Strand.
