Bechem United striker Prince Adu Kwabena sets sight on breaking Ghana Premier League goal king record

Bechem United goal poacher Prince Adu Kwabena has set his sight on breaking the most goals scored in a season by a player in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Former Hearts of Oak legend Ishmael Addo holds the enviable record of having scored the most goals in a season.

He bagged 22 goals to win the goal king in the 2000/2001 GPL season.

Prince Adu Kwabena who has already scored six goals after seven games believes he can break and set a new goal scoring record in the country.

"My target is to win the top scorer award this season. I want to also help my team to finish in the top four if we are not able to win the league"

"In my quest to win the golden boot, I have targeted scoring 28 goals this season" he said.

Prince Adu Kwabena will lead Bechem United attack against Medeama in match day eight of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League.

Bechem United are sixth on the table with 13 points.
