President of Bechem United Kingsley Owusu Achiaw have said emphatically that his outfit will not play the FA Cup.

According to Mr Achiaw, the FA Cup committee chairman, Kurt Okraku and some Executive Committee at the nation's football governing body connived against his side to be booted out of the competition in the early hence they will not honour their Round of 64 tie against AshantiGold.

"The FA Cup committee didn't ballot. They sat and decided who plays who. They did the fixtures with malice. We are the only premier league club picked to play another premier league club. They should explain to us how they came by such a draw. I am the president of the club and I am saying on authority that we won't play," Achiaw fumed Happy FM.

"Someone wants Bechem United out of the competition. How come Dreams FC sit home and play lower tier team whilst he pair Bechem united with another premier league side? There is no fairness"

"If they're talking about proximity, AshantiGold and Bechem United should not be paired against each other. We should have been paired against a Division one club from the Brong Ahafo region," he added.
