Odidja-Ofoe is currently applying for a Ghanaian passport to enable him visit the country but has not ruled out playing for the Black Stars. "I've already filled in an application for a Ghanaian passport. It's mainly for personal reasons that have nothing to do with football,” said Odjidja-Ofoe.

“However, I can't rule out that I will switch allegiances in the future. I could represent Ghana if the opportunity came up.”

Odjidja-Ofoe reveals his support for the Black Stars during the World Cup in South Africa in July.

He was disappointed that they could not reach the semi finals of the World Cup but was impressed with their overall performance.

"I watched Ghana play at the 2010 World Cup and was really impressed,” he said.

“I was supporting them and it was a real blow when the team was eliminated in the quarter-finals.

“My friends and I were already thinking about where to go to celebrate the win.

"The team has a number of amazing players. Michael Essien, Stephen Appiah and Kevin-Prince Boateng are all class acts."

Odjidja-Ofoe joined German Bundesliga side Hamburg in January 2008 but left after one year to his current side Club Belgian in a 900,000 Euro deal.
