South Africa-based Edwin Gyimah will make Ghana's 18-man squad to face Togo on Tuesday in a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm.

But the Mpumalanga Black Aces player will be on the bench as Mohammed Awal has been lined up to replace injured John Boye.

Gyimah's versatility as a centre-back cum defensive midfielder will be needed on the Ghana's bench.

Last Saturday, he was not picked in the team which drew 1-1 with Uganda at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Five players will be dropped from the 23-man squad due to CAF regulations which allow countries to present 18 players for matches.

Ghana's possible starting XI: Fatau Dauda- Harrison Afful, Jonathan Mensah, Mohammed Awal, Jeffrey Schlupp-Mohammed Rabiu, Kwadwo Asamoah, Andre Ayew, Christian Atsu-Asamoah Gyan, Jordan Ayew.
