Ghana youth forward Benjamin Tetteh is still waiting to make his bow for his newly-signed Turkish club Yeni Malatyaspor in the ongoing campaign.

Tetteh joined the Yellow and Blacks on a loan deal worth €1 million from Czech giants Sparta Prague this summer.

Yeni Malatyaspor will pay a further €4.5 million to secure the Ghanaian on permanent basis when the deal expires next year.

The towering hitman is yet to make his debut for the club due to an injury he sustained in training a fortnight ago.

The setback saw him miss the side's Turkish SupaLiga opening day fixture against newly-promoted side Fatih Karagumruk.

He was expected to make a return in their second league match against Goztepe on Friday (yesterday) but did not make the matchday squad as he still on the treatment table.

The player could however play his maiden match when the club travel to the xx stadium to engage Trabzonspor on matchday three.

Tetteh scored 8 goals in 33 league appearances for Sparta Prague in the 2019/20 season.

He was signed by Belgian side Standard Liège in 2015, at the age of 18, following a high-quality performance at the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
