Berekum Arsenal gun down Amidaus but still in danger
Berekum Arsenals beat Amidaus Professionals 2-0 in Berekum.

Relegation-battlers Berekum Arsenal managed a slim 1-0 win over Amidaus Professionals in the Ghana Premier League at the Golden City Park on Sunday.

Former Hearts of Oak striker Raphael Obeng scored the only goal of the game for the Gunners in the 5th minute of the first half.

Amidaus could have returned to Tema with a vital point had midfielder Benjamin Arthur managed to convert his spot kick midway through the second half.

Arsenal were seven points adrift of safety and needed to scrap all the points available.

The Berekum-based side are second bottom on the table with six matches remaining.
