Berekum Arsenal owner pleads for live TV coverage for Hearts decider

Berekum Arsenal owner Alhaji Yakubu Moro wants live television broadcast for their final league match against Hearts of Oak in Accra on Sunday.

This is in sharp contrast to an earlier protest to prevent the TV rights broadcasters from covering their penultimate fixture against Wassaman United at home which they won 2-1.

The controversial administrator claims he has realized his players perform better when their matches are live on TV.

Yakubu told Sunyani-based Storm FM: "I am kindly appealing to the authorities for coverage of our match against Hearts because we haven't had an away game shown live throughout the season.

"I have seen that my club perform very well when we get a live telecast so I will plead with them.

"That is to say I don’t want any under-hand dealings in that match so let’s have that one too live on television and we believe we can beat Hearts."

Arsenal need victory over Hearts to remain safe but could survive with a draw if other results go their way.
