Berekum Chelsea’s assistant coach Annor Walker has denied reports he branded Eric Bekoe as an overweight striker.
The 25-year-old joined the Blues in September in his bid to resurrect his career.
However reports have emerged of the former Asante Kotoko player’s sluggishness in training due to weight problems.
But Walker insists he has granted no such interview to any media house.
“I have not spoken to anybody concerning any issue since our new coach (Yusif Abubakar) took over,†he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“I don’t know where this false report came from and therefore should be disregarded as such.â€
Bekoe missed Chelsea Premier League opener last weekend due to his incomplete registration.
