Berekum Chelsea coach Hans Van der Plyum is unfazed about his sideââ¬â¢s chances despite being handed a tough draw in the CAF Champions League.
The Champions League debutants were drawn against three former champions, TP Mazembe of DR Congo and Egyptian giants à Zamalek and Al Ahly.
The draw took place at Caf's headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday.
The ambitious Ghanaian side will have to pull the chestnut out of the blazing fire to go past the three strong contenders in group B.
But their Dutch coach Hans Vander Plyum insists his men are ââ¬Ëswitchedââ¬â¢ on to go through unscathed.
ââ¬ÅThey are all former champions and therefore we have a lot of respect for them but we all got to this stage on merit and so weââ¬â¢ll see how it goes,â⬠Plyum told GHANAsoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅWe have to believe in ourselves that nothing is impossible and so weââ¬â¢re not going to be pushed à overs.
ââ¬ÅBig names donââ¬â¢t play football these days and so weââ¬â¢ll give our best shot. Many people ruled out our chances against CotonSports but we all saw what happened.
ââ¬ÅSo I believe anything is possible in such competitions. We know weââ¬â¢re a small club but we have the men to rub shoulders with them,ââ¬
The other group A matches will see holders Esperance battling it out against Nigerian side Sunshine, ASO Chlef of Algeria and another Tunisian side Etoile Du Sahel.
