Berekum Chelsea have contributed their quota in the fight against the global pandemic coronavirus by donating thousands of protective items to the people for free.

The Ghana Premier League side gave out hand sanitizers, nose masks and hand gloves to the people of Berekum.

The exercise took place on Friday in the streets and markets of the Berekum community which involved players, technical staff and some other officials of the club.

The 2011 Ghana league winners say they believe in giving and investing back to the community and that made them undertake such an initiative to help in the combating the deadly disease.

Ghana has recorded 136 cases since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
