Berekum Chelsea beat Bechem United

Berekum Chelsea lifted themselves from the relegation zone after managing a slim 1-0 win over Bechem United at the Golden City Park in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

A well articulated cross from Ivorian Bosson Landry found Obed Owusu who kept his calm to fire home in the 26th minute.

The underperforming Blues lured Bechem to attack more in the opening stages of the game with Patrick Cole and Abdul Agyiri.

And Chelsea capitalised on that with a Real Madrid-styled quick  counter-attacking play to score the only goal of the game.

Landry raced with a lightening pace to poke through the Bechem defence to locate Owusu to score the only goal of the game.

Bechem were without Serbian trainer Miroslav Bogdanovic.
