Berekum Chelsea fire past Hearts to keep dream title on course

Berekum Chelsea strengthened their grip at the top of the table with a solitary 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Joint top scorer Emmanuel Clottey increased his tally to 11 goals by converting a spot-kick in the first half for the match decider.

The leader's had defender Alfred Arthur flashed the red card by referee Siedu Boomison.

Chelsea still have a 12-point lead with five matches remaining.

Asante Kotoko needed a Nathaniel Asamoah second half spot-kick to beat Berekum Arsenals 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium and stayed in second place.
