Berekum Chelsea fly out for Zamalek showdown

Berekum Chelsea left Accra on Wednesday afternoon for their CAF Champions League penultimate Group B match against Zamalek.

The Blues are chasing a much-needed win at the Cairo Military Stadium against Zamalek who are winless in this year's competition.

Left-back Richard Kissi-Boateng, who missed the last match against Al Ahly in Accra, has returned from suspension.

Goalkeeper Ernest Sowah-who was excluded for Ahly match- has shrugged off a malaria scare and named in the 19-man squad.

Centre-back Ahmed Adams, whose late mother was buried last Sunday, has declared himself psychologically fit for the task ahead.

The match will be played on Saturday and Zamalek will for the first time have the backing of their fans.

Chelsea beat the Whites 3-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the corresponding fixture.
