Mercurial midfielder Charles Taylor has returned to training for defending champions Berekum Chelsea four months after going under the knife.

The 31-year-old aggravated his problematic left knee and was operated in early December last year.

The former Asante Kotoko talisman returned to training last week and is set to feature for the club's reserves next weekend.

"I have started training now and doing well by God's grace. I hope to be fit," Taylor told GHANAsoccernet.com

The midfielder's experience could be crucial for Chelsea who face Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in the Caf Champions League 1/16th stage tie in three weeks.

Taylor has a vast experience in continental football with both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
