Berekum Chelsea must beat Hearts in title run-in

Published on: 23 April 2011

Berekum Chelsea have the chance to continue their charge for the Premier League title this weekend with a home game against Hearts of Oak at the Golden City Park.

Both sides enjoyed mixed results in midweek as the Phobians regained ground to avoid a place in relegation while the leaders suffered an away defeat.

Either would be hoping for a win but Chelsea appear the most likely to take all three points.

Asante Kotoko, in second place and 12 points adrift the leaders, would be hoping to keep the pressure on Chelsea when they welcome Berekum Arsenals to the Baba Yara Stadium.

Third-place Medeama travel to the Gyemfis Park to play New Edubiase while bottom side, B.A. Stars host champions, Aduana Stars at the Coronation Park.

Mighty Jets' hopes of avoiding the drop would be tested at the Akosombo Park where they take on AshantiGold.

At the Wa Park, Real Tamale United would also be playing to save their premiership status as they need all three points against All Stars.

Liberty Professionals would be at home to Heart of Lions while Ebusua Dwarfs take on relegation threatened King Faisal.
