Berekum Chelsea to leave on Thursday for Zamalek clash

Published on: 28 August 2012

Berekum Chelsea will leave Accra on Thursday afternoon for their penultimate CAF Champions League match against Zamalek.

The debutants have been training in Berekum and will finalize their preparations on Wednesday at the Berekum Senior High School Park.

Chelsea trained on Monday evening without first choice goalkeeper Ernest Sowah who complained of illness.

The former Ghanaian champions need a win at the Cairo Military Stadium to enhance their chances of making it to the last four of the competition.

Chelsea twice came from behind to beat Zamalek 3-2 in the corresponding fixture played in July at the Accra Sports Stadium.
