Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah produced a man of the match performance to help Kayseripor beat Yeni Malatyaspor behind closed doors in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

The attacking midfielder provided both assists as the Red and Golds defeated Afriyie Acquah's Yeni Malatyaspor 2-1 at the Kadir Has Stadium.

The game was one of the several games to be played behind closed doors in Turkey as a precautionary measure to stop the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

Mensah created the first goal after just 22 minutes when he laid on a pass to Muris Mesanovic.

Twenty minutes later, the inspirational Mensah found Pedro Henrique Konzen for his side's second.

The ex-Atletico Madrid player could have made it three but missed a penalty in first half injury time.

Yeni Malatyaspor pulled one back through Orn Kjartansson in the second half.

Mensah lasted the entire duration together with his compatriot Afriyie Acquah, who was in midfield for Yeni Malatyaspor.
