BeÅŸiktaÅŸ have tabled a proposal seeking to sign forward Kevin-Prince Boateng permanently from Fiorentina.

The 33-year-old, who is currently on loan from the Italian side is considering the proposal from the Turkish side.

The Ghanaian star had told Italian media that he would prefer a return to his parent club to complete his mission at Viola.

But that position appeared to have been shifted after the former AC Milan star revealed he is happy in Turkey and would love to stay beyond the current loan deal.

Boateng has met the club's management over the proposal, asking for a little time to ponder over the proposal.

The forward's loan deal stipulates that he will offered a permanent deal if he plays five more matches.

If his current deal is automatically extended, the former Schalke star will earn 1.7 million euros next season.

Coach Sergen Yalçın has been pleased with the output of the Ghanaian and wants to see him in his squad next term.

"It will be beneficial for the team for him to stay but the material conditions must be met." he is quoted as saying.

Boateng is happy in Turkey and wants to continue with the Black and White jersey for a considerable number of years.
