Besiktas team manager Erdal TorunoÄŸulları has heaped praises on Kevin-Prince Boateng over his consistent performance for the club.

Boateng joined the Black Eagles on a six-month loan deal with the obligation to purchase from Fiorentina during the winter transfer window.

The 32-year-old Ghana forward has quickly established himself in the side after scoring two goals in three games.

His consistent displays has earned him plaudits from the side’s team manager who claimed they will trigger his option to buy clause should he play seven matches.

“A complete finisher. It quickly adapted to the team and demonstrated its quality. Hopefully it continues like this. If he already plays 7 more matches, his contract will be extended for a year. It is also very important that the tribunes gain their love.”

Boateng suffered an injury in the side’s 2-2 draw with Trabzonspor over the weekend but he’s expected to make a return in their next match.
