Ghana defender Daniel Opare has been likened to world’s fastest athlete Usain Bolt by the Besiktas fans after his performance in the Europa League on Thursday.
Opare hugely impressed in a makeshift left back role as the Black Eagles beat Liverpool 1-0 to tie 1-1 on aggregate and went on to win 5-4 on penalties.
The 24-year-old caught the eyes of the Besiktas fans with his surging runs and speedy recovery rate.
He completed 81 passes at 89 percent accuracy and linked up well with Gökhan Töre on the wing.
Also, he completed five successful dribbles.
Opare only joined on loan in January and had struggled for playing time but he left most Besiktas fans wondering why he does not start more often.
