Besiktas ready to offer Kevin-Prince Boateng new contract if he accepts pay cut

Turkish club Besiktas are set to part ways with Kevin-Prince Boateng when his current loan deal expires at the end of the season.

Besiktas had the option to extend his deal by offering him a permanent contract if he is able to play 10 games without injury.

According to reports from the camp, the club will not activate the option to purchase or renew the loan deal when it expires at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old has already played eight games this season for the club and is left with two games for his contract to be automatically renewed.

However, Besiktas are only ready to offer the Ghanaian International a new contract if he is ready to accept a pay cut.

Kevin-Prince Boateng joined Besiktas from Italian Serie A side Fiorentina in the January transfer window.

He has made eight appearances in the Super Lig this season and has scored two goals.
