Biabiany: Inter must look past Atalanta draw

Published on: 17 January 2016

Inter winger Jonathan Biabiany believes it’s key for his team to look ahead to their next match following their 1-1 draw with Atalanta.

Two own goals saw the scoreline end as 1-1 between the Nerazzurri and Atalanta on Saturday which means Inter failed to maintain their position at the top of the Serie A table.

“We tried to bring home the three points but we did not succeed,” Biabiany told Premium Sport after the game.

“It is important for when the game became difficult to not lose, and we didn’t lose so we must move on.”

Despite such a strong start to the 2015-16 campaign, Inter have the lowest goal tally out of the current top five in Serie A; 25 goals compared to Juventus, Fiorentina and Roma who all have 37, while Napoli have scored 41.

“The solution is to work harder and to try and search for a way to break through this,” Biabiany said.

Inter are four points off leaders Napoli in the table.
