Bibiani GoldStars Chief Executive Officer Kwasi Adu has lauded head coach Stephen Frimpong Manso for his transformative work since taking the helm of the club.
Frimpong Manso joined GoldStars midway through last season, stepping in at a time when the team was struggling under former coach Michael Osei. He successfully guided the club to an 11th-place finish, then bolstered the squad with strategic signings in key positions.
Currently, GoldStars are enjoying an impressive run, remaining unbeaten after eight matchdays in the Ghana Premier League, with five victories and three draws.
“We needed to change the dressing room, especially the head, so if you recall along the line coach Michael Osei who had done some great job for us in the past two and a half years, had to sacrifice his role and his senior brother Frimpong Manso took over," Adu told LUV FM.
“I must say the arrival of Frimpong Manso has done magic for us. He was able to understand the problems we were facing and magically did his best to help us survive the season,” he said.
After eight games into the season, GoldStars sit top of the league with 18 points.
