Bibiani Goldstars coach Frimpong Manso has emphasized the challenging nature of the MTN FA Cup, highlighting the potential for upsets and the need for focus.

According to Manso, the FA Cup is a unique competition where lower-tier teams often rise to the occasion, making it difficult for top-flight teams to progress.

"The FA Cup can be difficult sometimes because any team can cause an upset," Manso said in an interview.

"Lower league teams come into games believing they can cause an upset, so we need to be focused."

Manso's comments come after Bibiani Goldstars progressed to the Round of 32 of the FA Cup, defeating defending Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex, in the Round of 64.

Despite the challenge ahead, Manso remains optimistic about his team's chances, setting a target of reaching the semifinals of the competition.

Bibiani Goldstars are currently leading the Ghana Premier League with 23 points, and Manso will be hoping to replicate this success in the FA Cup.
