Wa All Stars have been dealt a serious blow as enterprising midfielder Kofi Yeboah and defender Abdul Ganiu pick up injuries in the clash with Liberty Professionals at the Wa Park on Sunday.

Kofi Yeboah dislocated his shoulder whiles Ismail twisted his ankle.

Both players were forced out of the game and are set to undergo series of scans to ascertain the degree of injury sustained.

Abdul Ganiu will undergo an x-ray to determine the degree of injury ahead of their crucial game with Dreams FC on Sunday.

Confirming the news to GHANAsoccernet.com the Team Manager of Wa All Stars Seth Pamwuni said both players will undergo scans with Ganiu set for an x-ray.

“Both players sustained the injury during the game and had to be substituted. They shall be examined by the medical team on Monday to ascertain the extent of their injuries,” he said.

The Team Manager added that the absence of the two is a big blow ahead of their clash with Dreams FC.

“It’s a big blow to us with a crucial clash with Dreams FC ahead. Ganiu is our dependable defender while Kofi is our chief driver in midfield,” he added.
