Black Leopards FC tracking Ghanaian forward Francis Afriyie

South African top-flight side Black Leopards FC are set to sign Ghanaian striker Francis Afriyie this summer, GHANAsoccernet.com have gathered.

The Thohoyandou based side are looking to strengthen their squad for the ABSA Premiership and have shown interest in adding the Ghanaian forward.

Afriyie currently plies his trade at Botswana heavyweights Township Rollers FC. He joined them in January 2020 on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old left Kenyan giants Gor Mahia FC to move to Botswana after terminating his contract following the club's inability to pay his owed salaries.

The former Bechem United player scored six goals in 11  appearances for the Kenya Premier League champions.

He has experience playing in Europe for Serbian side FK Vojvodina and in the North America for Mexican side Murcielagos.
