Black Leopards star Edwin Gyimah named Man of the Match draw against Kaizer Chiefs

Ghana defender Edwin Gyimah was adjudged Man of the Match in Black Leopards draw against South African giants Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League. 

The strong guardsman was instrumental in defence as the Lidoda Duvha held Chiefs to a pulsating 1-1 draw.

Following his outstanding display, the former Helsingborg defender walked home with the accolade.

"It was a game game. the supporters came out in their numbers," said the 28-year old. "First of all we thank the supporters, the Almighty God, the management and the boss for giving me the opportunity."

"I am happy, it's been a long time having this achievement. I'm so grateful," he added.

Kaizer Chiefs scored first after just 11 minutes when Samir Nurkovic scored before Gyimah played a role in Mogakolodi Ngele's leveler on 32 minutes.

Gyimah joined Black Leopards in October 2019 and has been a key member of the team, having play ten times.
