Ghanaââ¬â¢s U17 womenââ¬â¢s team left Accra on Wednesday night for their training tour of the US ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Costa Rica.
The Black Maidensââ¬â¢ trip to America had been delayed by a day after they missed their flight on Tuesday night.
The team has had to endure travel issues after 13 of its players and officials were initially denied visas.
The Sports Ministryââ¬â¢s intervention however ensured that the visas were secured for the team to embark on their training tour.
The team has now been able to travel after missing their flight on Tuesday.
The Black Maidens will be in the US for two weeks before travelling to Costa Rica for the World Cup which kicks off on March 15.
