Black Meteors beat Okyeman Planners 3-0

National U-23 side Black Meteors defeated Division One League side Okyeman Planners by 3-0 in a friendly game at the Legon Presec Park as part of preparations towards  their AFCON U-23 qualifier against Gabon on March 23 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The first half ended goalless with both sides failing to convert their chances.

Ghana U-20 striker who has been promoted to the U-23 side Daniel Lomotey scored a brace in the second half. Ernest Awino secured the win for the Black Meteors with the third goal of the game.

This is the third preparatory game played by the Black Meteors as they prepare ahead of their AFCON qualifier in a weeks' time.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko is also expecting 11 foreign players to augment his squad ahead of the clash.

The foreign based players are expected to join the team starting from Monday as the leagues across Europe goes for International break.
