The Black Princesses have been eliminated from the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup after managing a 1-1 draw with USA in their final Group C match on Monday.

Ghana finished bottom of the Group and got ejected alongside New Zealand who were beaten 2-0 by second place France.

The Princesses took the lead courtesy a Casey Murphy own goal in the 20th minute when Ernestina Abambilla's long ball came off the cross bar and struck the goalkeeper.

But the celebrations were transient as captain Mallory Pugh struck the leveller two minutes later.
