Ghana U20 women’s team suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat to Morocco’s senior women national team in an international friendly play on Sunday.

Black Princess took the lead after just two minutes when lead striker Milot Pokuaa profited from a failed clearance inside the box to fire home.

The Moroccan defender missed the ball and Pokuaa controlled with her right foot before toe poking into the net.

But the hosts levelled things from the spot just before the half hour mark after scoring a penalty.

France-based Nawal Ouinekh let fly a long-range shot which beat the goalkeeper.

Faustina Akpor drew Ghana level again with a nice goal on a half volley which flew past the goalkeeper and dipped inside the net.

Six minutes from time, Hanne El Tel Haj’s diagonal curler from inside the box flew into the top corner at the far post.
