Ghana’s Black Princesses have learned their route to the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland as they aim for an eighth consecutive appearance at the global tournament.
Following a bye in the first round of qualifiers, the Princesses will begin their campaign in the second round, where they are set to face the winner of the tie between Togo and Tunisia.
Should they overcome this hurdle, the team will encounter either Eswatini or South Africa in the third round of qualifiers. Success in these matches will secure Ghana a spot in the final round of the qualification process.
While the qualifiers commence in May 2025, Ghana will not begin their journey until September.
The Black Princesses featured in the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia but were unable to advance past the group stage.
The team will be eager to make amends and push for a strong showing in Poland.
