Black Queens arrive in Namibia for African Women's Championship

Ghana’s women national team have arrived in Namibia for the African Women's Championship which runs from 11-25 October.

The Black Queens touched down on Sunday night after connecting from South Africa.

Yusif Basigi’s side returned from a training tour of Japan where they played against the defending champions and the Olympic team.

Ghana’s opener will be against Algeria on 12 October before playing South Africa and Cameroon in Group B.
