Black Queens captain Elizabeth Addo is worried by the lack of international friendlies for the team ahead of their crucial AWCON qualifiers against Nigeria.

The Black Queens face the Super Falcons in the first round of qualifiers for the Africa Women Cup of Nations slated for next year.

But their opponents Nigeria have been engaged in preparation matches and on Monday they played Portugal, a game that ended 3-3 in Lisbon.

However, the Black Queens have been inactive during the international break, leaving the captain asking questions over the lack of activity of the team.

"Ghana Football Association, Ministry of Youth and Sports, we saw Nigeria play Portugal last night and they gave a beautiful account of themselves," she wrote on Twitter.

"This a team we play a crucial qualifier game within a few months and their preparation is enviable. Black Queens need good international games to get ready. Please listen to us for once," she added.

The Djugardens IF player has been critical of the FA in recent times over their lack of attention for women footballers and coaches especially during their birthdays.
