Captain Florence Okoe insists the Black Queens stand a good chance of qualification to the African Women Championship despite the 1-1 home draw with Cameroon.

The midfielder led by example by snatching the vital equalizer for Ghana in the 73rd minute at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday in the final round first leg qualifier.

The veteran believes there is everything to play for in Yaoundé in a fortnight.

"We are not out of it, just like they scored here we can also go there and score without conceding," she said.

"We still believe we can qualify so we are going there to fight and get the win."

The Black Queens will be the first Ghana national women's team not to have qualified for a major tournament this year following the progress of the junior sides.
