Black Queens revived their campaign at the 2020 Turkish Women's Cup after a 4-0 thrashing of Northern Ireland B on Saturday at the at the Gold City Sports Complex in Alanya on Turkey’s southern coast.

Spain-based midfielder Princella Adubea opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a powerful shot from just outside the box.

A few minutes after the half hour mark, Beatrice Sesu unleashed a rocket which flew into the net with goalkeeper Lauren Perry left with no chance to keep it out.

Four minutes from the half time whistle, the Black Queens were 3-0 up thanks to a Grace Asantewaa close range finish.

Portia Boakye hit the bar line and whipped in a cross from the left, which was parried back into the play by the Northern Ireland goalkeeper.

But the ball dropped in front of the midfielder who tapped it in for the third goal in the 41st minute.

In the 52nd minute, Asantewaa grabbed a personal second when she dribbled her way into the box before shooting home.

Adubea, who plays for CD Sporting Club de Huelva, shockingly spurned a goal scoring opportunity from 12 yards when she shot wide.
