Black Queens drawn against Cameroon and South Africa in Aisha Buhari Cup

Black Queens of Ghana will play Cameroon and South Africa at the group stage of the Aisha Buhari Cup. 

Ghana are among six nations invited to take part in the tournament organized to honour the First Lady of Nigeria, Dr Aisha Buhari in conjunction with the Aisha Buhari Foundation.

It is dubbed ‘Playing for Good’, an opportunity to build and sustain positive narratives about Women football on the continent.

Host Nigeria will face Morocco and Mali in Group A.

The maiden edition will be hosted by Nigeria and run from 13th – 21st September 2021.

The tournament will also be used by all participating teams to prepare for the pending Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.
