Ghana’s Women’s national team have stepped up preparations ahead of  the start of next week’s Africa Cup of Nations in Namibia.

The Black Queens have been in Windhoek since last week and fine-tunning ahead of the start of the biannual event.

The Ghanaians, ranked second on the continent are determined to get to the pinnacle of African football.

The team will play at least two friendly matches against Namibia’s U16 boys and the Namibia National team before their first group fixture against Algeria on October 12.

Ghana secured qualification to the 9th TN Mobile Africa Cup of Nations after beating Senegal 4-0 in two-legged ties.
