Black Satellites coach Jimmy Cobblah has predicted a heavy victory over Benin in the upcoming Africa Youth Championship qualifier.

The one-time World Champions must defeat Benin over two legs to qualify for the African championships to be staged next year in Niger.

Ghana hosts their opponents in the first leg of the ultimate qualification tie this Saturday at the Cape Coast Stadium with the hope of securing a resounding result to render the return encounter a mere formality.

“I am expecting at least 3 or 4 goals against Benin tomorrow. We will work hard for God to reward us,” Cobblah told Happy FM.

When asked if the break in camping and in activeness of his players has got any effect on his team he said, “Things were bit difficult when we resumed camp but we are well prepared to face the Benin side.”

“We were expecting 4 foreign based players but we couldn’t get them, especially the right to dream players Kudus Mohammed and Ibrahim Sadiq and other WAFA players outside”, he added

Jimmy Cobblah believes all his players are fit for first selection and hopeful they can deliver in the absence of some big names in camp.

Seven teams are expected to join the hosts nation Niger at the final.

The 2019 tournament will serve as qualifiers for the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Poland later next year.
