The second phase of the player assessment for Ghana's national Under-20 team, the Black Satellites, will commence at the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) technical center in Prampram on Saturday, February 2, 2025.
Thirty-eight players from the Premier League, Division One, and lower-tier clubs have been invited to join the exercise at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE).
These selected players have been performing exceptionally well and are vying for spots in the national Under-20 team ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d'Ivoire, which will run from April 26 to May 18, 2025.
Coach Desmond Ofei and his technical team aim to identify promising talents who can challenge existing squad members and enhance the competition within the team.
The Black Satellites, who recently won gold at the African Games, are gearing up for the upcoming continental tournament and are focused on building a competitive squad. The technical staff hopes to uncover emerging talents who will help create a winning team for Ghana.
