Black Satellites train at Nakivubo Stadium ahead Uganda clash

Ghana's Under-20 have trained at the Nakivubo Stadium for Saturday's 2013 African Youth Championship penultimate round first leg qualifier.

The Black Satellites went through drills, passing exercises and played piggy-in-the-middle which was supervised by head coach Maxwell Konadu.

But there are concerns about the nature of the pitch less than 24 hours to kick-off.

The middle patch and the two goalkeeping areas are reported to be water-logged.

Ghana's Consul General to Uganda Tom Buruku fears the Black Satellites will find it difficult playing on the turf.

"Our boys are not used to playing on such flooded and muddy surfaces because in Ghana the pitches are on standard," he is quoted by the Monitor Newspaper.
