Head coach of Ghana’s Black Starlets, Laryea Kingston has opened up on how his team will approach the encounter against Benin on Tuesday, May 21.
The Black Starlets will take on the Benin U17 male national team tomorrow in their second Group A match of the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.
Ahead of the game, Coach Laryea Kingston has made it clear there will be no room for complacency.
According to him, his team will play to secure a win by putting up a dominant performance.
“As for the Ivory Coast game, it’s past and gone and we’ve forgotten about it. The most important game for us now is Benin and we will approach it with all the necessary seriousness.
“We aim to dominate the game in terms of possession and win and that’s what we will be doing on Tuesday,” Coach Laryea Kingston said as quoted on the GFA website.
The match between Ghana and Benin tomorrow will be played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
