Vice Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, Stephen Appiah says the playing body is disappointed after failing to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The four-time African champions failed to secure a spot for the tournament which is scheduled to be hosted in Morocco having finished at the bottom of its group with three points after recording three defeats and three draws.
However, with the team set to resume their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar, Appiah, who captained tge senior national team to its first-ever World Cup appearance in Germany said the players are determined to make amends after the AFCON qualification failure.
"The players, the technical team and everyone around the team is disappointed," he told Asempa FM.
"For the first time, we didn't win a game in the qualifiers but the players are determined to win against Chad and Madagascar.
"The way they have been training clearly means they want to win these games after failing to qualify for the AFCON," he added.
Ghana will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 20 before flying to play Madagascar in Morroco all in the Matchday five and six games of the qualifiers.
Otto Addo and his players will wrap up their training sessions today ahead of the game on Friday.
